You must be age 19 or older (on 31 August 2024). You must not already hold the qualification that is being delivered or have a higher qualification in same subject.
On successful completion of your course, you will be awarded a nationally recognised qualification and accredited certificate.

Yes, all the LMP short courses are certified qualifications through NCFE or TQUK awarding bodies.
Some regional authorities in England are classed as Devolved areas. These are Mayoral Combined Authorities (MCAs) and they include Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Greater Manchester, Liverpool City Region, North of Tyne, South Yorkshire, Tees Valley, West Midlands, West of England and West Yorkshire.
If you reside in one of these areas, you will be unable to access the free courses advertised on this website, but you may be able to access funded training directly from your regional authority.
All other authorities are classed as Non-Devolved areas and you will be able to access these free courses if you meet the eligibility criteria. If you reside within the Greater London Authority (GLA) you will be able to access these courses, subject to eligibility.

Yes, employers recognise these certificated level 2 and level 3 qualifications.
Several short courses have guaranteed job interviews after the course has been completed to help you gain employment.
We also run regular sessions to prepare you for job opportunities and interviews.
Eligibility criteria for the free short courses include being aged 19 or older as of August 31st 2024, not already holding the qualification being delivered, and not already having achieved a higher qualification in the same subject.
You are only able to study one funded short course at a time, but you can complete as many as you would like.
On average, our level 2 online courses take 8-10 weeks to complete. However, this may vary with some courses being slightly longer/shorter. You can find specific duration dates on the individual course pages.
